My art is hand-made and created from discarded trinkets I have collected during my wanderings – twigs, stones, jewels, sea-washed glass and shells, keepsake jewellery, or any other treasures. The integral structure of the sculptures is made from natural and organic elements gathered from woods, forests, beaches and river-banks throughout the UK and Ireland.

Twiggling is the simple yet fascinating art of collecting twigs, sticks, moss covered stones and any other knick-knacks, gimcracks and what-nots. If you are really lucky one of your finds might be that ‘extraordinary twig’ that attracts your attention as you are walking by.

Let me make a House of your Own. Bespoke and Personal.
Most of the physical elements of the house can be provided by you. Any personal trinkets, family heirlooms, gems, bits and bobs collected by you and your loved ones. You decide the type of house, size, colour of roof, base…etc. It will be a piece that is Unique to you and your family. Designed to be placed in the garden to stimulate the young ones, the elders to reminisce and create a Happy little place for all to enjoy.

Once you have collected your hoard, I can then incorporate all of your treasures into a beautiful sculpture you can keep in your home or a secret corner of the garden. However much you choose to be involved you will end up with a totally unique piece, flavoured with your own happy memories that will bring fun, joy and imagination to your life.

When you order a product from Twigler you can be confident that a huge amount of thought and work has gone into the process. I am the only person you will deal with throughout from your initial enquiries, through bespoke creation, to the final details of packaging and shipping – or delivering and installing – depending on your location and preference.

I have always been fascinated by the simple act of picking up twigs, sticks, moss covered stones and other objects discarded by nature or their hosts.
Whether it be strolling in the woods with my parents as a child, or coming full circle as a father and taking my own son out for walks, the simple act of picking up an ‘extraordinary twig’ , or a Gandalf Staff has always been a great source of pleasure in my life. Ha, the little things in life !
It may have a face or look like something else – something extraordinary. Imagination starts running wild… but, before Twigler, usually only for a few moments before the find gets thrown back on the woodland floor and forgotten.
So I decided to make Fairy Houses for children and adults alike to place in their gardens or homes. Fairy Houses designed to create a little corner of whimsey and fantasy. Fairy Houses that will make others stop in their tracks and disappear into another world – even if only for a magical moment.
It is a wonderful journey I have fallen into. I have always wanted to make things, but never had the time.
A small investment for a return of many smiles.

Twiggledy-Piggledy
The Shells and the Sand found in Beaches and Bays
With Sticks and with Stones found wherever they lay
With Bits and with Bobs
With Trinkets and Beads
And the Higgledy Piggledy nobody needs.
Things lost and discarded can make a new home
Completely unique with a style of its own
When they all come together
They live once again
Giving Faeries a shelter from wind and from rain.
It’s there in your garden tucked into the shade
A place filled with whimsy – a magical glade
And in time if you’re lucky
And willing to see
You might see inhabitants fluttering free
I’ll craft you the house but I’ll leave it to you
To decide what it is that you wish it to do
But I hope that you’ll find
It’s a place to beguile
A place made of magic that wakes up your smile.
